The TMUX7308F is a ±60V fault protected, 8:1, single channel multiplexer with 1.8V logic

The TMUX7308F and TMUX7309F are modern complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) analog AM3354BZCZA100 multiplexers in 8:1 (single-ended) and 4:1 (differential) configurations. These devices are suitable for dual supply (±5 V to ±22 V), single supply (8 V to 44 V), or asymmetric supply (eg V DD = 12 V, V SS = –5 V). Overvoltage protection is available under both power-up and power-down conditions, making the TMUX7308F and TMUX7309F devices suitable for applications where power sequencing cannot be precisely controlled.

The device blocks fault voltages up to +60 V or –60 V to ground under power-up and power-down conditions. When no power is present, the switch channel remains off regardless of the switch input condition and logic control state. Under normal operating conditions, if the analog input signal level on any Sx pin exceeds the supply voltage (V DD or V SS ) threshold voltage (V T ), the channel is turned off and the Sx pin becomes high impedance. Pull the DRAIN pin (D or DX) to a power supply (V DD or V SS ) that exceeds the fault channel.

Low capacitance, low charge injection, and integrated fault protection enable the TMUX7308F and TMUX7309F devices to be used in front-end data acquisition applications where high performance and robustness are critical. These devices are available in standard TSSOP packages and smaller WQFN packages (ideal if PCB space is limited).
